Jenna goes Shopping

On our way to the store with Jenna's toonie that Grandma Low gave her for her birthday

Right away she chose some SweetTarts.

She proudly shows them to me while Brody reaches for some corn chips.

She liked giving the man her toonie and getting lots of coins back.
The next day she paid her tithing for the first time: 20 cents.

Brody got this cute coat from Uncle Matt & Aunt Royall at Christmas. He looks adorable in it.





Jenna at Harkers for Easter. This is her first Easter Egg she decorated. She also enjoyed eating it later.

MARCH MADNESS!!

I've created a March Madness bracket manager for the upcoming NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament. If you haven't received an invite and want one, just email me and I'll try to get you in on time. The deadline is 9am this Thursday (15th) so you better hurry and make your picks. It's really easy and totally free.

In another, unrelated note, we're headed to Lacombe today to sing in the music festival. We'll let you know how it goes. We're singing an arrangement of "Abide With Me."

Starting to Grow up

I'm really starting to notice that both Jenna and Brody are growing up into little people. Well not real little people, but real toddlers. Jenna loves to show Brody how to do things. Recently she made me think Brody had rolled over on his own, but really she helped him over by pushing him. She also enjoys showing Brody how to color, I'm glad her felts only color on special paper and not on children. I still laugh everyday at what Jenna is learning and says back to me. One time when I was crying Jenna was so concerned and wanted to wipe my tears away and gave me the biggest hug ever, it made me cry even more cause it was so cute.
I really have great kids and they are perfect for our little family.

End of February

Brodys first experience swimming was in Grandma Joyce's pool. It was really warm and Brody loved it! He just layed there while we pushed him around and even dunked him under the water.
Jenna is a much different swimmer, a little timid at first, she ends up liking the experience by the end of it all.
Jenna excels at other things like eating and especially getting messy while eating.


Brody learned how to hold his bottle, he is starting to really notice his hands and wants to use them.


Jenna got to hold some really cute little kittens. They were only a few weeks old. She really enjoyed that.

Moving Along

Well Jay's company is moving along quite nicely now. They sold their first house and received the cheque on Valentine's Day. He took pictures holding the cheque which was the most money he's ever held. They bought their first vehicle for the company, a really nice 2003 truck. So we took some pics with the kids in it.
We are excited and hopeful that the renovations will keep coming and that the company will continue to do well.

Museum

Well I took Jenna and Brody to the Museum. Thanks to Sarah for the info.

The main attractions were "Bob the Builder" and "Lego" underwater theme.

Jenna and Davey had alot of fun.

We also visited some other exhibits, such as the bugs and dinosaurs.

We all were brave enough to touch a tarantula.

We all had a lot of fun together as a new family of four.

Jenna just got a potty and is getting used to what it's all about.

Brody enjoys being a good baby!

Jenna has learned the art of foosball. Thanks to Uncle Russ.

Jenna loved opening presents at Christmas, she enjoyed tearing the paper almost as much as the gifts she received.

The other day we took Brody to meet his new best friend: Jackson Burnham. They were wearing matching sleepers and handmade toques by Grandma Harker.


















As you can see, they got along great.
